Causes and Home Remedies for Female Libido Enhancer

The loss of sex drive in women is something that most women will worry and wonder about. What happened? Why am I not interested anymore? While it is frustrating, the loss of sex drive in women usually stems from several health concerns. In most cases, these things can be treated to help your sexual life get back to normal… One option is to consider a women’s libido enhancer but we will talk about this in just a minute.

Physical Causes of Low Libido

Endocrine illnesses – The endocrine glands are responsible for producing various hormones essential for well-being. Conditions such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, and hyperprolactinaemia causes hormonal imbalance which leads to decreased libido.
Low testosterone levels – Although chiefly a male hormone, testosterone is also produced in women by the adrenal glands. Testosterone plays a role in building sex drive. Long-standing alcoholism is one factor that reduces testosterone production in women.
Body weight - Being very underweight, severely obese or malnourished can cause a low libido due to disruptions in normal hormonal levels.
Anemia – Low levels of RBCs (red blood cells) results in low stamina, making a person simply too tired to engage in sexual activity. Menstruation is one of women’s natural occurrences that may cause anemia.
Medications/ drugs – Hormonal contraception, antipsychotic drugs such as SSRI’s (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), anti depressants, and opioids, and beta blockers used to manage hypertension may reduce sexual urge.
Pregnancy and childbirth – Hormonal changes that occur throughout pregnancy and childbirth may result in a temporary loss of libido. The pain of childbirth itself may be so traumatic that a woman loses interest in sexual activity.
Painful intercourse - An uncomfortable or painful intercourse may make women avoid sex. This can be caused by various reasons, such as pelvic infection, vaginal infections, a cyst, or lack of estrogen resulting in decreased vaginal lubrication.
Latrogenic conditions – Iatrogenic (doctor-induced) procedures such as hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) and tubal ligation result in decreased female hormone production of estrogen and progesterone, causing decreased sexual drive.

Home Remedies to Increase Female Libido

Eat raw oysters. Some people don't care for them, but if you can stand to eat them, add a few to your daily diet. Scrub the shells to remove dirt and bacteria, then open the shells and place them on some ice. Oysters are high in zinc, which is known to raise testosterone levels and sperm production in men. Try eating a few raw oysters a day and see if it helps increase your sex drive.

Add avocado to your daily diet. Avocados have high levels of folic acid, Vitamin B6 and potassium, which all play important roles in female libido. Folic acid helps metabolize proteins, Vitamin B6 helps increase male hormone production and potassium helps regulate the female thyroid gland, which in turn helps increase female sex drive.

Eat more asparagus. Asparagus is rich in Vitamin E, which helps stimulate the production of sex hormones. This is good for both the female and male libido.

Eat a banana every day. Bananas are rich in potassium and Vitamin B, which are important in the production of sex hormones, or testosterone. Bananas are also great for increasing energy.

Add figs to your diet. Figs are high in amino acids, which can increase female libido. Figs can also increase sexual stamina.

Snack on celery throughout the day and add it to your lunch. Celery contains androsterone, an odorless hormone that is released through male perspiration and reportedly turns women on. Celery is also good for you and tastes great, too.

Eat eggs for breakfast every morning. Eggs contain vitamins B5 and B6, which help fight stress levels. They also help balance hormone levels, which is important for a healthy libido. Stress is one cause of a low libido, so eat some delicious eggs for breakfast on an everyday basis.

  1. Never ever use Viagra for ED or PE. It has got its own side effects. You can use this successfully for a couple of years to maximum up to 5 years after that our body stops responding to these allopathic salts and I have learnt this thing the hard way. Better way of handling this problem is by using herbal medicines which do not have side effects. Moreover there are herbal medicines which can also cure this problem and there is no need to continue the medicine after it is cured. Apsara's Secret Desire is one such product, you can give it a try.
